"NZHCS My Farm" is part of the NZHCS online database. It enables NZHCS members to record activities and performance related to their farm and cattle, be they NZHCS registered Highland Cattle or not.
Development
The development of NZHCS My Farm is in its early stage. The initial modules are The Farm (so that you can set up basic information about your property, including paddock details) and Cattle (basic information about the cattle on your farm).
Part of this development will integrate directly with the NZHCS herd book providing easier ways of requesting highland cattle registrations, bull assessments, cattle for sale etc. This will make these processes easier for both members and our Registrar.
Development will progressively provide comprehensive recording of mating, calving, weaning, animal measurements, animal health, animal purchases and sales along with reporting able to compare animal performance on your farm and against other members' cattle.
